B&D's products are primarily sold for residential applications with demand driven by the growth in the renovation, replacement and new build segments of the residential housing market and the retrofitting of automatic openers to the existing installed base of garage doors.

In addition to B&D branded garage doors, this division also holds the Garador and Dominator businesses, both manufacturers and suppliers of quality garage doors and fittings.

The B&D business produces four key product groups:

• Automatic garage door openers which provide access to the garage with security and convenience through a remote keyless transmitter. The automatic openers are used on residential and industrial doors.
• Sectional doors that provide a modern appearance to the key entry point of the home coupled with a smooth, quiet opening mechanism.
• Rolling doors that provide a secure garage door with a space saving design and compact roll ensuring free ceiling space in the garage.
• Industrial doors which are typically a rolling door style, similar to residential doors, but with wider openings and manufactured from stronger materials.
